SOS signals are to draw attention, not to hold it and retail display is meant to grab attention without distracting from the goods displayed. SoS strikes harmony within its striking yet subtle aesthetic, getting consumers attention without distracting from the goods displayed. SoS features balancing trapezoids that nests on one another. The design is symmetric in most any way that it is divided. The quarter circle shape allows many configurations from free-standing single units, to full circles and S-patterns, each well balanced and symmetrical, as well as engaging and soothing the consumers visual palette. The many configurations keep consumers interested and allow retailers to be creative. SoS brings excitement and composure to any retail space.

I enjoy that you were able to make a simple gesture work so dynamically, making it broadly applicable. It is also very easy to fabricate and could really enhance and or provide visual appeal to a space. Let's hope the hype with some of the more 'popular' ones cools off to reflect more on design merit! Jan 26 2009 | 12:09 am
