The table stresses the idea of balance through the use of multi-level surfaces and asymmetrical support. As can be seen, there are several cantilevers, all of which use thin, tapering elements. The black supports contrast with the usable desktop space while maintaining the same language. The idea for the product is a light appearance with a floating element. The table tops use a 1" layer of LG HI-MACS Arctic white, and the supports use LG HI-MACS Spectrum Black. This product has applications in restaurant/hospitality, retail, and residential.

How big is this table? Depending on what this is used for, having two connected table tops might not be wise for coffee. It would be great for a desk to study on though.
I like the design, very unique yet simple. Jan 27 2009 | 12:11 pm

Scoot the "V" table back and make the table plane not go under the taller table plane and then you could sit on the lower one as a seat? Jan 27 2009 | 02:56 am

there should be wheels on the bottom so it can be a floating island in your kitchen Jan 27 2009 | 01:10 am

This is not an average table; more like a coffee table or a night stand. It is small and lower to the ground and is not meant for legs to go underneath. Jan 26 2009 | 12:57 pm

I like the use of two colors, and the angles, but can we see this thing in context?? Where does the person sit? With their legs hitting the v of the shorter desk? This, like so many other designs on here, may be good, but how can we tell when we can't see how it works? Jan 25 2009 | 07:46 pm
