Backs get weary from sitting in formality at constant; this chair was designed to ease the spine, allowing it to rest against a gentle curve. The chairs are meant for relaxation; place them in areas of repose so one may lean back and stare above; place them in grass so that the curved seat may become a back rest for another.
The overall design originated from folding and bending a single sheet of material in order to get the form desired; if one actually desires careful observation, one will see the chair as an aesthetic whole, rather than a collection of joined parts.
