Balance can be found in many places, though the most important balance tends to be the one that is hardest to describe. This type of balance is often connected to our proximity to nature, to water, to living plants, to sunlight; many of the things that we often lack in our day to day lives which seem to become more and more urbanized by the day. This is the type of balance that the Flower Fountain is meant to help a person obtain, using LG’s Eden-Cocoa and Spectrum-Fiery Red lines of the Hi-Macs materials.. The fountain’s small size makes it ideal for use in almost any setting provided there is a window and a power plug nearby. The fountain calms the senses with the sound of running water, and helps to connect us back to nature by providing a space to grow small plants, such as herbs or a houseplant referred to as Micro Mini Sinningias, a small flowering plant with a spread of about 1.5”, planted in rock wool around the edge of the holding pan. While this may seem small enough not to make a difference, its often the spaces where we don’t feel there’s enough room for anything else that need that little touch of nature to help balance our technology driven lives.
